Tommie Robinson knows football and he knows running backs. Coach Robinson is currently the Arizona Cardinals running backs coach and he brings his vast knowledge and expertise to FBU. Prior to coming to the Cardinals, Robinson was in the collegiate ranks coaching running backs at the University of Miami (Fla.), Memphis and Oklahoma State, where he coached future NFL back Tatum Bell. He also spent four years coaching wide receivers and tight ends at Georgia Tech under head coach Chan Gailey.
Gailey brought Robinson on board from his staff when he was coaching the Dallas Cowboys. While in Dallas from 1998 to 2000, Robinson coached the Hall of Fame trio of Michael Irvin, Emmitt Smith and Troy Aikman. Before the move to the Cowboys, he coached running backs at UNLV and Utah State as well as spending four seasons coaching wide receivers at TCU.
