Thurmond Moore Trains the Best NFL Prospects

A projected first-round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, defensive lineman Dontari Poe was looking to train for the NFL Combine and prepare for the next level – he turned to FBU instructor Thurmond Moore.  Moore is one of the most respected coaches of defensive linemen at all levels of the game.  He is a master of technique, which he learned through working with St. Louis, Oakland, San Francisco, Arizona and Buffalo in the NFL and through major collegiate programs such as UCLA and Syracuse.

Poe was an All-Conference USA defensive tackle at the University of Memphis and had one of the best NFL Combine performances of recent years.  Not only did the 350-pounder run a 4.8 40-yard dash, he also bench pressed 225-pounds an astounding 44 reps.  ESPN's draft analyst Todd McShay called it an "epic workout performance" and NFL Network's Mike Mayock moved Poe from number three to up number one on his defensive tackle list.

Poe learned Moore has trained numerous NFL Pro Bowlers including defensive ends Dwight Freeney and Simeon Rice, linebacker Joey Porter, and defensive tackle Pat Williams.  On top of that Moore trained two first-round Draft selections last season in defensive ends J.J. Watt and Cameron Jordan.  To improve his game for the next level, Poe needed to go to the best, and he found it in Coach Moore.  Tune in to the NFL Draft's first round on April 26, where Poe could potentially be a top-15 pick!
