After completing an All-American career as a wide receiver at UCLA, Mike Sherrard became just the second wide receiver selected in the first round by the Dallas Cowboys. He had a stellar rookie season by having 41 receptions for 744 yards and leading the team with 5 touchdowns. His totals rank fourth for most receptions, second for most receiving yards, and is tied for fourth for most touchdowns by a rookie in Cowboys' franchise history. Sherrard played 11 seasons in the NFL with the Cowboys, Giants, Broncos and winning a Super Bowl as a member of the 49ers. Currently, Sherrard is an assistant coach at the southern California prep powerhouse Oaks Christian and he trains the next generation of stars at FBU!
