Pricing Rationale:
We realize that this invitational only mini-camp may be more expensive then the generic run of the mill summer football camp that allows for general instruction to everyone. This mini-camp is unique in that it is not for most athletes, just the top 200 football players in each region (100 top high school and 100 top youth football players) per region. These athletes are instructed by former NFL coaches and NFL greats who are top instructors at their position. They instruct our athletes for the entire 3 day mini-camp weekend. Our instructors passionately teach our athletes, not sign autographs. Many of our instructors currently provide personal training to NFL athletes. They have agreed to adjust their busy schedule to travel to several cities to train the area’s top athletes through FBU. Before FBU mini-camps, access to many of these instructors would require travel to the instructors region which would include air, hotel and meals. Otherwise, hiring them for personal instruction and paying for the costs of travel and hotel would costs thousand of dollars. Importantly, our invited athletes are trained by our top instructors in small group settings, which is a premium environment for learning. The student to teacher ratio is 9:1. The technology used at FBU like the slow motion high definition camera is expensive technology that is not found at other camps. Every athlete will have access to this technology. In addition, quarterbacks will have access to the QBU helmet cam that evaluates a quarterback’s vision into the defensive backfield. No additional costs will be incurred due to the television show produced from each camp as each invited athlete will be identified. The producer will have final discretion as to featured athletes.
Every athlete and his biography will be included in the yearbook published by FBU with Tom Lemming. This publication will be made available to colleges, Tom Lemming’s Prep Football Report and the Forbes Report. Broken down, the amount of elite instruction equals 14 hours from Friday to Sunday. Accordingly, the cost per hour equals $35 - $40. Private instruction is available through FBU to all athletes.
