Football University could not find a better coach to lead its defensive line training. With over 40 years of coaching, most of it coaching defensive linemen, Coach Rex Norris brings his considerable expertise and experience to FBU. Norris made his FBU debut at Top Gun last year and wanted to become a full-time instructor after he saw what it was all about.

Norris knows all different levels of defensive line play, from private prep tutoring, to the collegiate level and to the NFL. Norris was at Oklahoma with Barry Switzer where he was the DL coach and eventually assistant head coach. He coached seven first-team All-Americans with the Sooners, including future Hall of Famer Lee Roy Selmon.

Norris made other college stops at Arizona State, Florida, Tennessee and Texas. In the NFL, he coached the defensive lines for the Denver Broncos, Detroit Lions, Tennessee Titans/Houston Oilers, and Chicago Bears.
