In 2012, Football University once again put on the most anticipated football camp of every year - TOP GUN, at the Warhill Sports Complex in Williamsburg, Virginia. In past years Top Gun has been a massive success. More than 1,300 of the top prep and youth athletes from FBU's regional camps show off their outstanding skills to show why they were deserving of being invited to Top Gun – the best football camp in the world.

Top Gun athletes are given the unique opportunity to practice the techniques and skills they have been taught against athletes who are as big, as strong, as fast, and as gifted as they are.

They also are blessed with the chance to impress the best group of NFL faculty ever assembled at one camp. The almost 80 members of the coaching staff have over 700 years of combined NFL coaching and playing experience! These coaches share their immense knowledge of the game to the athletes through on-field drills as well as detailed classroom film breakdowns.

Every year at Top Gun, several rising seniors are picked to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, and many more participants are selected for the Eastbay Youth All-American Bowl.

Sports Medicine at Nationwide Children’s Hospital

The sports medicine experts at Nationwide Children’s Hospital are the sports medicine provider for 2013 Football University, providing injury prevention, initial injury management, concussion management and coordination of care with the sports medicine, orthopedics and/or emergency service specialists of Nationwide Children’s. There’s only one sports medicine leader for serious athletes – the sports medicine experts at Nationwide Children’s – and they’re the best equipped to treat concussions, rehab sports injuries or prevent them from happening in the first place. Nationwide Children’s works closely with parents, coaches, athletic trainers and primary care physicians to ensure every athlete receives age-appropriate care, with the goal being to give every athlete the opportunity to perform at the highest level. Competition is one of the key aspects of TOP GUN. Nothing like going against the best!
Instructors like former Super Bowl champion David Diaz-Infante make the difference when the game is on the line.

"What an incredible experience we enjoyed at "Top Gun 2012". My son Bowman and I felt like football royalty from the moment we drove into the parking lot at Warhill High School. The organization and coordination of this event was second to none. You, your staff and the incredible coaching staff that was assembled at this camp was amazing. We come from a small town in Southern Utah called St. George and stepping on to the Top Gun stage will always be a highlight of our football experience. We have had the opportunity of participating in several camps like NUC, the All-Poly Camp, Rubio and Kohl's Long Snapping Camps and the USA U-17 National Team Camp in Austin, Texas. Although they were all good, the FBU Camp in Tempe and "Top Gun" would have to be the best camps by far. We look forward to participating in future FBU events and we just wanted to thank you personally for making such a difference in our lives. FB...U KNOW!"
Respectfully,

Direct coaching with an emphasis on technique help athletes standout.
Competition is important, but so are the friends and bonds created during the heat of battle.
